Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hands on Palette Studio! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our artists, please familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions: 

1. Advance Booking: 

  • All sessions must be booked a minimum of 72 hours in advance.

  • Sessions can be booked through our online booking system.

  • Walk-ins are not guaranteed and are based on availability.

2. Down Deposit: 

  • A non-refundable down deposit is required to confirm your booking. 

  • Payment for the down deposit can be made securely through our online booking system. 

  • The remaining balance for your art session is due on the day of your class.

3. Private Event: 

  • To reserve a private party, please send us an email and we will get back to you with more information. 

  • A non-refundable down deposit, sent in the form of an invoice, is required to confirm your booking. 

  • The remaining balance for your private event is due on the day of your event. 

4. Late Arrivals:

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to accommodate other bookings.

  • While we aim to not be too strict on punctuality, we kindly ask all participants to be considerate of both fellow participants and our art instructors by arriving promptly for your session.

5. Cancellations:

  • Due to the structure of the class, we require at least 2 participants per class. If a class does not reach the minimum number, we will have to cancel the class, but will allow you to reschedule to a future date. 

  • The down deposit of $50 is non-refundable unless the class has been cancelled on our end.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please email us 48 hours in advance.

  • If you are rescheduling your session, we will be happy to assist you in finding an alternative date that suits your schedule.

6. Tufting Related:

  • Please submit your final designs 72 hours in advance to ensure that there is enough time to approve your design and set up your class. 

  • If you purchase a one-day class, but you need an additional session to complete your rug, there will be an additional charge for your second session.

    • $100 for an additional session (3 hours); $50 for our instructor to complete your piece (service fee).

    • Additional fees do not apply to our rugs 35" x 35" frames and bigger.​​

  • Our team handles the backing process for you, which involves gluing, shaving, and cleaning. This service typically takes about 2 weeks and will be ready for pick up by then.

    • Expedited Completion: We offer an expedited service for a quicker rug completion. For an additional fee of $80 (payable on-site), we'll prioritize your rug and have it ready for pick up the very next day.

  • Canvas Replacement: In the event that a canvas is accidentally ripped and needs to be replaced, an additional fee of $25/canvas (payable on-site) will be incurred.

7. Failure to Pay Balance:

  • Failure to pay the balance on the day of your appointment may result in the cancellation of your session.
